Est. 2016 — Wood & Flame

Fire is the oldest kitchen we know

A dining room built around the hearth — where every dish passes through wood smoke, embers, and open flame before it reaches you.

Our Philosophy

Nothing between the ingredient and the fire

EMBER has no gas line and no electric oven. Every plate that leaves our kitchen has touched an open flame — grilled over oak, smoked under embers, or finished on the hearth in full view of the room.

We work with a single wood-fired hearth built by hand, a rotating list of small farms, and a menu that changes with the smoke.

The Story

We didn't want a kitchen that hid behind a wall. We wanted the fire in the room, so every guest could see exactly what they were eating and why.

Every course had actually been near fire. You could taste it. Best meal I've had this year.

The ribeye alone is worth the drive. Watching it come off the hearth is half the experience.

Small room, huge flavor. Booked our anniversary dinner here and we're already planning the next one.
